Neurodiverse Black and racialized youth share their workplace experiences, challenges, and needs in this Journey to Inclusion video. Developed through youth interviews, the video is part of the Myth Busters seed grant project developed in partnership with Autism Alliance of Canada and the Youth Alliance for Intersectional Justice (YAIJ).

Employment is a focus of Priority Area #2 of Canada’s Autism Strategy: Economic Inclusion. By debunking common myths and sharing the perspectives of Black and racialized youth, Myth Busters seeks to improve inclusive employment practices and increase awareness about neurodiversity in the working world.

In this Journey, youth voices are amplified and misconceptions are challenged contributing to a more inclusive dialogue on employment and helping create opportunities where everyone can thrive.
