Two McMaster University experts are reimagining how Canadian workplaces can better welcome and accommodate workers with disabilities with the help of $9 million in federal funding announced this week.

For two years, the world’s economy has been hit with blow after blow. Coronavirus shutdowns along with forest fires and mass floods have produced major backlogs in supply chains worldwide. While consumer demand is increasing, industries continue to find it hard to keep up.
New federal initiative aiming to increase employment rate of persons with disabilities
A new, six-year initiative is focusing on building the capacity of employers and workplaces to recruit, hire, onboard, accommodate, train, mentor and promote persons with disabilities.
