Therese Salenieks is the National Operations and Communications Associate of IDEA. 

Salenieks was previously a Research Analyst at the Centre for Addictions and Mental Health (CAMH), and a Program Coordinator and Research Assistant at the University of Alberta. She is interested in a wide range of research related to health and the social determinants of health.

Salenieks has an MA in physical education and recreation from the University of Alberta and a BPHE (bachelor’s of physical and health education) from the University of Toronto.
