Logan Wong

Logan Wong is a research assistant within IDEA's Hub 2, Employment Support Systems under the supervision of Rebecca Gewurtz. He identifies as a trans, bi-racial, Autistic wheelchair user and is a social worker and equity, anti-racism, anti-oppression, and accessibility professional. .

Wong is working a project that examines the processes and tools that best help employers and other workplace parties to find, onboard, promote and retain persons with disabilities including implementing inclusive return to work policies and procedures and the role of government social assistance in finding and maintaining employment.

Before joining the IDEA team, Wong worked on several task forces and executive committees within the CHILD-BRIGHT Network and at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. He is is also an entrepreneur and owner of IDEAA Perspectives Training & Consulting, a consulting firm specializing in Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Accessibility and Anti-Racism (IDEAA).

Wong has a Masters of Social Work and a Bachelor of Social Work from Toronto Metropolitan University.
