Transitions to Work and Career Development

Jean-Marc Moke is a PhD Candidate in Organizational Studies at the Schulich School of Business at York University. He is an intern within IDEA’s Hub 3,  Transitions to Work and Career Development, under the supervision of Dan Samosh.

Moke’s areas of interest include identity management, interracial interactions, and diversity climates. Outside of IDEA, Moke is a graduate research assistant in the Stigma and Identity Lab and an executive advisor for the Black Students Mentorship Program.

Moke co-founded and presided over the advocacy association of Black Students in Psychology and is a founding member and executive advisor to the Black Students Mentorship Program in York University’s Faculty of Health. He was an executive advisor for the CEWIL IHub funded “Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) at York University initiative.

Moke holds a Specialized Honors BA in Psychology.
