Diana Palmerin-Velasco
Senior Director, Future of Work, Canadian Chamber of Commerce
Diana Palmerin Velasco is the Senior Director, Future of Work at the Canadian Chamber of Commerce. She is a dynamic, strategic, critical thinker who enjoys leading collaboratively. For the past 20 years, Palmerin Velasco has worked in academia, government, and the non-profit and private sectors in the United Kingdom, Mexico, and Canada. Her areas of interest and expertise include Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, Critical Design Thinking, Dialogue Facilitation, Applied Social Research, Program Development, Evaluation and Community Engagement. Diana believes in the urgent need to accelerate the employment inclusion of people with disabilities and equip small and medium size businesses across the country to become disability confident employers.
Palmerin Velasco holds a BSc in Political Science and Public Administration, MSc in Social Psychology, and a Ph.D. in Sociology. She is also a Canadian Certified Inclusion Professional.
